You can take a more active role in your town and county governments.

This page contains of list of some of the advisory committees that citizens of Chatham County and its towns can serve on to support their community and government.

We will be adding to this list on a regular basis, as well as adding more information about the groups already listed.

As a result of a request from some of the students who attended the first session of Citizens’ College, we are listing below the County Advisory Committees. The County Commissioners appoint members to these Advisory Boards in order to assist them in the administration of County government.
